Maybelline- Pure Liquid Mineral Foundation Review

HELLO GUYSSS~~~ Its been a long time I didn't do blogpost. I know its been another MIA due to several reasons but mainly I have been very busy doing my final year tasks. So without any further lets move on to the review :)

I bought this product last December since it was on sale in Brunei for only $16 (if I'm not mistaken) which is quite affordable. In terms of the packaging, its simple in a form of glass tube bottle accompanied with the pump and very secure plastic cap.

Shade: OC1

While the texture of the foundation its a bit liquidy and light (I think its quite similar as the Garnier BB Cream texture). It is also very easy to apply and build-able. The coverage is quite sheer around medium coverage more or less.

Talking about my experiences using this product is that the first time I used it, I didn't really like it because for me this foundation doesn't do anything good on my skin. But then, after 2 or 3 three times using this product I started to change my perspective about this foundation. I just realise that this foundation kind of provide a very natural look and a bit glowing which makes my face more radiant and healthy looking. Moreover, it is super easy to apply and blend easily to my skin.

Its also feel that I don't wear any foundation at all because how light the texture is. What makes me happy using this foundation is that, honestly when it comes to choosing the foundation shade I always get the wrong one. However, not this time the shade it perfectly suits my skin and I don't know if it just me or what but I feel that once I use this foundation my skin feel super soft like silk.

Recommendation: Suitable for teenager who likes the natural glow finish.

Have you try out this product?Do you like it?

My Best Beauty Products of 2013

Hi ladies, it's been a long time I didn't enter the blog-sphere because I was too lazy to write anything *LOL*. And yes, this post should be up in the early of January but again I was extremely lazy. Moreover, the school life already started so that's mean I'm a bit busy but never mind I still want to post my beauty products of 2013.

So for this time, I want to do it in a different way, rather than just share it in a blog form why not post it in vlog? So here it is. It's kind of a very short vlog but I hope you enjoy it :)

Coffee Bean's Cronuts

Yeayy!! Finally I have a chance to try this cute four different croughnut flavours. Actually this is a very late post but then I only have a chance to upload it today. I had these last year December (2013), I was really lucky that time. I remembered when I bought these it around 11 a.m at Centre Point, Gadong Coffee Bean.

Talking about the cost of 1 croughnut would be around BND2.90. A box of 4 croughnuts would be BND10. So I decided to try out all of their flavours: Chocolate, Blueberry Cheese, Strawberry and Vanilla which costs me about BND10.

I was quite disappointed I was expecting the texture and and taste would be good and a bit crispy since it is the mixture of doughnut and croissant. And yes it suppose to be a bit crispy. However, it tasted like a doughnut but I think the doughnut itself taste much better than these.

So have you try out the croughnuts? Do you like it?

KF's Wedding

As I said at my previous post I was quite busy for preparation of my cousin's wedding. His wedding was held on last December, so I would like to share some of  the happy moment of my cousin's wedding.

I know when it comes to wedding season it must be very tiring but we all as a big family of #HA had made a very amazing moment when our family gathers and cooperate in order to achieve successful events.

Now rather than posting pictures on my blog, I think it would be fun share it in a very short video format. So have fun :)

Back To School Haul 2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014 GUYS!!! I'm sorry for being MIA for the past few weeks because I was terribly sick and quite busy with the preparation for my cousin's wedding. Okay now it's the first day of 2014, so that's mean welcome back to school. The first day of 2014, I would like to  begin with 'Back To School Haul'.

I just bought my school stuffs recently, just a few since I still have the old ones and I don't like to waste.

I bought this at local store Utama Grand, The Mall for BND 5.50. This notebook is available in 3, 4 and 5 subjects divider which I love about it. Then I chose the 3 subjects divider because I only have 3 subjects for this semester.

I also bought the mini notebook B6 size also with the 3 subject divider. I might use this little book for exam preparation.

I love the colour and the design

The hard cover A6 notebook size which is only BND 3.90.

Stabillo Colour Pens RM 21.90
Stapler BND 3.99

Scissor BND 1.70

Papermate blue pens RM 1.20

Orange highlighter RM 2.90

Sharpie RM 1.50
I love sharpie and I think it is much cheaper in Miri, Malaysia.

That's all for my quick haul and what about you? Have you bought your school stuffs?

Review: Essence Get BIG lashes

Hi ladies I just recently bought this mascara about one week ago. Now it's time to do a review on this little toy. I bought this mascara at Paloma, The Mall.

Get Big lashes!, Essence:
  • It cost around BND 4.90 (if I'm not mistaken)
  • 12 ml in a bottle
  • Made in Luxembourg
  • Waterproof version
  • Volume boost
  • It says for maximum volume and especially thick lashes.
  • Smudge and waterproof.
  • Ophtalmologically tested.

big fat applicator and also full of little brushes on it

For the first time I used this mascara, it was a very dry mascara. Then when I applied my second coat it gives me thick eyelashes but in a weird way and also it created lumps at the ends of the lashes because it was quite dry. After few hours,  obviously it looked really firm and dry. The most uncomfortable thing was that when it comes to in the middle of the day, it started to annoy my eyes like there was something went into my eyes I believed it was the lumps from my lashes.

However, it is a waterproof mascara and also a bit thicken and lengthen my lashes. The end of the day, it was very hard to remove and it took time. It required me to remove using the olive oil to smooth out the process of removing the mascara. Seriously I can't stand to own that drying mascara and quite difficult to apply, so I decided to put in 12 drops of Eyemo in the mascara to make it bit moisturize.

Today, I used this mascara again to see if there was any changes after I dropped the eyemo liquid. Then it 's really works, which give the mascara quiet different from the first time I used it. It makes me easy to apply.

Here is the look after put in the eye drops into the bottle:

After finish applied the mascara ( 2 coats of mascara)
So far,so good. It's kind of thicken and bit of lengthen my eye lashes. So far, so good which is much better than the first time. You might not see the different from the first time used and after using the eye drops. My apologies I forgot to take some pictures at the first time using it.

Side view (2 coats of mascara)
A bit of lumps at the end of lashes but it's okay. It's much better now compared to the previous one.

Front view (2 coats of mascara)
This look was right away after I applied the mascara, which was okay.

So far it felt much better than before where it does not annoyed my eyes and does not look weird at all. Around 2.32 pm I did check my lashes, it was still okay does not create any problem so far. Unfortunately I did not take picture of it.

Here is the look when I went back home around 3.32 pm:

From the picture, you can see that it does not really hold the curls for a very long time. When I went back home my lashes already went down a bit. It only able to hold the curls approximately about 2 hours. But it still  good though, where it maintains the thick eyelashes. However, it still hard to remove the mascara which still need the help from the olive oil.

Generally, this product was not really good though since it was really dry, difficult to apply and give some weird look of lashes. However, after put in some eye drops into it turns to be a good ones. So if you already own one of this and don't like it or planning to get one of this make sure to put in some eye drops in it then you might love it than before.

Verdict: 3/10 (The product itself without the eye drops in)
: 5/10 (With the eye drops in)
